In 2011, Shane and Aidan Quigley acquired the property and undertook extensive restoration efforts. Their goal was to revitalize the mansion and transform it into a venue for haunted tours and chilling overnight stays, capitalizing on its reputation as one of Ireland's most infamous haunted locations.
