9. Amethyst and Gold Bracelet

Donn by: Victoria the Queen
Been in possession since: 1839
Value Approximation: $3,000*
It was well known that Queen Victoria was much in love with her husband. Despite the fact that the Royal Family hasn't traditionally been associated with love marriages, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were soulmates. Together, the two had nine children after getting married in 1840. Upon announcing her engagement to Prince Albert, Queen Victoria was showered with expensive gifts.

One such present from the Duchess of Kent to her in late November 1839 was this bracelet made of gold and amethyst. The exquisite purple amethyst hearts on the solid gold bracelet were undoubtedly meant to represent Albert and Victoria's love for one another.
