19. Catalburun

The Catalburun a Turkish Pointer is identified by a distinctive split nose. While the feature alters nasal structure it does not prevent proficient scent work. Celebrated locally yet little known abroad it stands 20 to 24 inches and weighs 45 to 65 pounds. Used for generations in hunting it wears a low maintenance liver and white short coat. High drive and stamina call for abundant exercise and guidance making it better suited to experienced handlers.
