13. Easter Island in Japan

What it is: Features seven small versions of the Polynesian site, resembling the Moai statues.
Average Cost: $6.32 for the entrance fee.
All of us have heard of the Polynesian Easter Island, but it seems that Japan was so enamored of the concept that it created its own Japanese Easter Island. The Moai statues on the recreated Easter Island are almost exactly the same. The world has never permitted any copies of these statues. They are exclusive to this Miyazaki park.

Sun Messe There are only seven moai in the park, called Nichinan, as opposed to the nine hundred on the Polynesian island. Every figure, referred to as a Tongariki, is endowed with a particular blessing, which may include wealth, marriage, love, academic pursuits, business, or health. Every blessing embodies the essence of the seven explorers who discovered Easter Island.
