7. At Least They Tried to Make It Look Legit

This might be the most creative attempt we've seen to repair a broken taillight. Red duct tape is typical, but this solution goes way beyond that. While a red plastic bottle technically covers the taillight, it's unlikely to glow when the brakes are used. Instead, it would probably just puzzle other drivers. The creativity behind this repair deserves both admiration and concern. While using a red bottle as a taillight cover shows remarkable resourcefulness, it's hardly safe. This solution shows the extremes people will reach to follow regulations, even if the result is far from legal. You can almost hear the thinking: "It's red, it's transparent, it fits—close enough!" Sometimes, good intentions and questionable repairs lead to rule-following, even if the outcome isn't practical or safe.
