4. Montenegro Rainforest Bridge, Costa Rica

In the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, a chain of six suspension footbridges threads the canopy, granting a rare treetop perspective. Designed for guided walking, not climbing, they let visitors observe birds, insects, orchids, and mosses with minimal disturbance. Though the forest shelters potentially hazardous wildlife, encounters are uncommon when guests follow instructions and stay on marked routes.
